CAREfidence is a specialist in Long-Term Care Planning, and CAREfidence is found at the convergence of health and wealth in one's planning: "Knowing a plan is there when there's a need for care"
Comprehensive financial planning is an intricate process that considers various aspects of your financial profile, often incorporating components for retirement, investment management, tax planning, estate and elder law, and healthcare. While the advisory community espouses its value, expertise, and the necessity to deploy its services, strategies, and planning, there is a significant disparity in how that same advisory community addresses the healthcare component for most Americans like you.
CAREfidence was imagined and launched because surveys consistently indicate too few across the advisory community are properly explaining Healthcare In Retirement or providing clients with adequate solutions for it. Instead, if LTC is addressed at all, it usually falls somewhere between being waived off with "you've got this covered" and being ignored altogether with "that's not my job."
No one reading this would argue that Social Security and Probate are government programs that fully meet someone's needs or that investment management, tax prep/planning, and estate/elder law are all tasks to be completed on your own or using artificial intelligence. Every one of those financial planning topics or concerns has an unbreakable linkage with healthcare and Medicare, yet the vast majority of consumers and the advisory community ignore the inadequacies and gaps, viewing self-funding as an acceptable "planning" strategy.
CAREfidence should be a goal of every American as the 65+ demographic continues to expand, and having CAREfidence will require the recognition of healthcare planning disparity and a focus on the convergence of health and wealth in the framework of comprehensive financial planning.
