Alfred C. Current, III, CLU, CLTC

Alfred and his wife, Karen, live in the Englewood/Port Charlotte community. He is a committed servant to his Church and community. Alfred is a third-generation Rotarian, having served as a District Governor, United Way of Charlotte County Board member, and a member of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Class of 2026. He can also be found serving others with a delicious spread of gourmet whole hog BBQ, a spiritual gift of radical hospitality.

Alfred has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, serving families and businesses, so they sleep well at night. Experience and aging have given Alfred a special insight into a void that exists in today’s planning. Having been a caregiver for his parents, Alfred realized that the advice they received from those advisors they trusted was anything but complete. There was no stress-testing of their investment portfolio to determine the financial toll when the cancer diagnosis was revealed. There was no caregiving manual or structure that came with the disease. There was worry and anxiety as to how life would play out. 

There is a better way. Alfred’s journey, focus, and mission are to help families protect the ones they love by creating a plan that provides the needed roadmap if and when the need arises. No one can know with certainty whether long-term care will be needed or to what extent. But every family can prepare.  Without a plan, you have nothing but a wish. Hope is not a plan. The plan starts with a conversation.
